….this makes me really super uncomfortable. There is a lot of sexist shit white people do too. I feel like this is something made by a racist who was also probably sexist trying to prove he wasn’t sexist because “it’s not as bad here as it is over there”.
This is completely racist bullshit. This ignores rape culture and violence against women that is SO normalized we pretend like it’s normal or deny it exists in the West, as well as institutionalized oppressed re: access to health care, wage discrepancies among women and then further among women of color, etc. It’s also obviously trying to say that those scary Brown people are inhumane and uncivilized.
