I mean obviously you know I think about race quite a bit, but sometimes I still forget how insidious racism is. 

My desire spectrum may be in flux and expansion, but it still includes versions of the hegemonic white man. 

My objects of desire still operate under the same rules of social programming, and in varying levels of consciousness about how their desires operate.

Recognizing my own beauty is a charged political act. Others acknowledging the truth of my beauty is contentious and also highly political. Obviously this isn’t true of only me, but I’m just thinking in terms of my own life. 

This shit is tough, y’all.
