The first reading for my Chicana feminism was really empowering, and our class discussion went really amazingly. I’m so excited to be surrounded by these intelligent, powerful women of color and hopefully learn what I can from them this semester.
A friend keeps telling me I’m right where I’m supposed to be right now and I think I’m starting to understand what she means. And believe her.
