Accidentally wrote an entire reading response about deconstructing the Othered homophobia we perceive African queers as experiencing and disconnecting it from the daily violence we in the U.S. experience of trying to navigate queer performativity while maintaining safety which just made me think really heavily about how shitty everything is and made me sad. Now I gotta go in to work. Bloop.
