The White House, which could have launched a civil rights investigation, is not making a statement. SCOTUS denied a stay of execution without comment. The Georgia Parole Board didn’t give a reason why it felt the recanting of 7 witnesses didn’t warrant overturning the death penalty. Nobody in our political system with any power is willing to take a risk to stop an innocent man from dying.
Fuck everything about this.
It’s an election year.
